Slightly hazy golden yellow, average white head. Aroma is citrus and an underlying overripe paupau note. Biscuity pale malt and fruity hops with vegetal undertones complete the palate, with medium bitterness.

Left Hand Deep Cover Brown Ale

Deep Cover Brown Ale is brewed in the tradition of the brown ales commonly enjoyed in the U.K. Despite its reddish-brown color, it is light bodied and slightly sweet, making it a very drinkable and refreshing brew. Dark caramel malts lend this ale its rich color, while toasted and Munich malts provide just enough body to be truly enjoyable.

Basically a pale ale brewed from a relative low gravity, with some of the hops which would normally be used in the beer replaced by freshly ground ginger root. It was initially brewed as a refreshing alternative to the plethora of wheat beers which are popular in the summertime.
