The flavor was very big. This is a big beer at over 11% abv and it was obvious. The flavor was full of barrel aged goodness. A really great job aging this one here. Notes of bourbon and a touch of cherry were very noiceable on top of the nice full yeast flavor. The alcohol was very present

This has a big, rough citrus punch with a bitter, peppery finish. There's a little apricot and juicier fruit in the aroma and flavor, but the earthy grapefruit rind dominates this rich and tasty IPA. Definitely worth a try for hop heads.

Verboten
Manufacturer: Weyerbacher Brewing Co.
ABV: 5.9%
The beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is great! It has a solid pale malt scent along with good hop character and one hell of a yeast aroma. It's fruity/peppery; all of the above. The taste is great as well! I'm loving the bitter hop flavor compiled with a yeast character that's out of this world. It's dry and bitter and just plain good. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a Belgian pale that borders on a Belgian IPA
