Beer :: Quadrupel
Sampling Dates

Manufacturer: Weyerbacher Brewing Co.
ABV: 11.8%
The flavor was very big. This is a big beer at over 11% abv and it was obvious. The flavor was full of barrel aged goodness. A really great job aging this one here. Notes of bourbon and a touch of cherry were very noiceable on top of the nice full yeast flavor. The alcohol was very present

Konongshoeven Quadrupel
Manufacturer: Bierbrouwerij De Koningshoven
ABV: 10.0%
Smells very sweet. Cherry, dark fruit, brown sugar. Smells rich and sweet like a barleywine almost. Taste follows the nose.

Lost Abbey Judgement Day
Manufacturer: The Lost Abbey
ABV: 10.5%
A massive beer in every sense of the word. A stronger and more contemplative version of the Lost and Found Ale.

Malheur 12
Manufacturer: Brouwerij De Landtsheer
ABV: 12%
import from belgium

Ommegang 3 Philosophers
Manufacturer: Ommegang
ABV: 9.8%
"A rare international blend of dark and malty quadrupel from Ommegang, and cherry-infused lambic from Lindemans in Belgium. It is a masterful blend that is greater than the sum of its parts - a rich, ruby brew that weaves a port-like subtle fruit into a creamy elixir of chocolaty caramel effervescence." -THE PHILADELPHIA INQUIRER

Rochefort 10 Degree
Manufacturer: Brasserie de Rochefort
ABV: 11.3%
Dark color, full and very impressive taste. Strong plum, raisin, and black currant palate, with ascending notes of vinousness and other complexities.

St. Bernardus Abt 12
Manufacturer: Brouwerij St. Bernardus
ABV: 10.5%
The absolute top quality in the hierarchy of the St. Bernardus beers. It is also the beer with the highest alcohol content (10.50 %). A dark ivory coloured beer with a high fermentation. The show piece of the brewery. Thanks to its soft and unconditionally genuine aroma, the beer can be smoothly tasted. The Abt has a very fruity flavour.
