Flying Dog Ragin Bitch IPA
Manufacturer: Flying Dog Brewery
ABV: 8.3%

Flying Fish Exit 6
Manufacturer: Flying Fish
ABV: 7.5%
Exit 6 is a deceptively simple recipe- pale malt augmented by 20 percent rye, fermented with a classic Belgian yeast. But then it gets interesting with the hops: English East Kent Goldings, Slovenian Styrian Goldings and Japanese Sorachi Ace. The result is a rich saffron color with a spicy character from the rye and lemony citrus notes from the unique Sorachi Ace hops.

Gouden Carolus Ambrio

The beer pours a cloudy golden color with a reddish hue along with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is great. It has a spicy Belgian yeast aroma laid over a fine malt bill. It's loaded with spices and seems almost sour smelling. The taste is good. It has a smooth pale and light crystal malt flavor that is accompanied with spices and fruity Belgian yeast finish. The barrel aging adds a certain smoothness to the brew. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a full bodied beer with good carbonation.

Kwak
Manufacturer: Brouwerij Bosteels
ABV: 8.0%
Full-bodied Belgian Specialty Ale. Amber in color with beautiful foam and slightly sweet, seductive malt character. Rich, satisfying Belgian experience.

La Binchoise Reserve
Manufacturer: Brasserie La Binchoise
ABV: 9.0%
Pours with an exceptional fizz that goes away pretty quickly, the aroma is a mixture of faint alcohol, dark fruits. The taste it really what sells it though, bubbly on your tounge it goes down with a faint peach tartness and follows up with a smooth buttery malt on the exhale. After about 3 sips you'll start to feel the 9% alcohol setting in, which really helps bring out more of the flavor. Not the most exceptional brew of this type, but really a very very solid one.

La Chouffe
Manufacturer: Brasserie d'Achouffe
ABV: 10.00%
Pours a clear, medium reddish-brown color; decent light tan head with good retention and solid, mixed-bubbled lacing. Soft raisin and cola notes dominate the aroma, followed up by a solid yeastiness, dates, and light spicing; the alcohol is very well-hidden in the nose; loads of dried dark fruits and restrained sweetness. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: good levels of carbonation.

Lagunitas A Little Sumpin' Wild Ale
Manufacturer: Lagunitas Brewing Co.
ABV: 8.85%

Another Big Sister of the Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’ Ale. Loads of Malted Wheat for a Curious Malt Foundation and a Light Color, But Our Belgian Yeast Leaves a Huge Flavor and Complexishness.

12% vol.alc. – re-fermented and bottle-conditioned Rich, dark coloured beer, with a wonderful hoppy, floral nose and well-balanced flavours, making it easy to drink.

Matilda
Manufacturer: Goose Island Beer Co
ABV: 7%
Pours a pale, slightly hazy orange color with a good bit of lacing as it goes down, but the initial head wasn't too tall, especially for the style. The aroma is of slight Belgian yeast in addition to some sweet, and partially caramelized, malt. Touch of Brett in the background. Taste is similar with the malt coming out a bit more and the yeast moving to the background. Nice earthy background tones. Light-medium body and nice carbonation.

PranQster follows in this tradition using a mixed culture of antique yeast strains that results in a floral nose, a full fruity flavor and a clean finish.

Deep golden with a subtle haze. Lots of hops and malt. Mild sweetness. Reminiscent of bread dough, spices and tropical fruits.

Poperings Hommel Ale
Manufacturer: Brouwerij Van Eecke
ABV: 7.5%
Pours golden opaque with a tiny bit of visible lacing and a one finger head that quickly dissipates. The taste is a pleasant mix of dry hops, spice and a bit of bready malts, more orange peel at the finish.

Rayon Vert
Manufacturer: Green Flash
ABV: 7%
Pours a light amber color with a huge white head. A really nice Brett character. Heavy on the fruit (especially apple), a bit of pear, lots of straw and grass, and a mild spice. Some bread and cracker and a light citric quality on the finish. The flavor is slightly tart and citrusy with lemon and lime notes. Light tropical fruit character as well as some pear and apple. Good bread and a mild spice note to it as well. Really nice.

Rochefort 6 Degree
Manufacturer: Brasserie de Rochefort
ABV: 7.5%
Belgian strong dark ale.

Rochefort 8 Degree
Manufacturer: Brasserie de Rochefort
ABV: 9.2%
The lower gravity cousin to Rochefort 10. Beer is a beautiful dark brown, with reddish hues. The tan head is about a finger-width but disapated very quickly to leave a small film on top. Sweet malt, lightly spiced dark fruits, and a bit of a boozy finish. It is a very "warm" taste (not just in an alcohol sense), and very full.

Russian River Damnation
Manufacturer: Russian River
ABV: 7.0%
IBU: 25
In the great beer producing country of Belgium, some brewers have made it a tradition to give their beers an unusual name. Sometimes the name is curious, now and then it is diabolical and other times it is just plain silly. Damnation is our brewmaster's interpretation of a Belgian style Strong Golden Ale. It has extraordinary aromas of banana and pear with mouth filling flavors of sweet malt and earthy hops. The lingering finish is dry and slightly bitter but very, very smooth.

Samuel Adams Infinium
Manufacturer: Boston Beer Co.
ABV: 10.5%
Limited release. The sparkling beer is complex, unique in taste and produced strictly according to the German purity law. This sparkling beer is dry and strong in taste despite the more the 10 percent by volume alcohol and unsettles preconceived opinion about the limits of the German purity law. The strong, deep golden beer will enter the market in noble, corked, 0.75 liter bottles.

Scaldis Ale
Manufacturer: Brasserie Dubuisson
ABV: 12.0%
Scaldis has a nutty, lightly sweet malty bouquet and flavor with a warming, complex dry finish. It is this dryness that makes this beer so drinkable and so deceiving. Dry enough to be an aperitif, but I would save it for after dinner (in a brandy snifter).

Sone Cali-IPA
Manufacturer: Stone Brewing
ABV: 6.9%
Pours a crystal clear yellow-golden-orange. One finger of fine white head that dissipates slowly, leaving moderate lacing. Hops are more noticeable here, with pine and grapefruit actually being the first elements of taste I pick up on. Candy malts and spicy yeast linger on the finish before being replaced by a somewhat indiscriminate bitterness.

Trois Pistoles
Manufacturer: Unibroue
ABV: 9.0%
Pours the color of Coke with a light tan head and is sweet and fruity (dates, figs, pears) with a bit of that belgium yeast spice. Medium body.

Troubador Blond Ale
Manufacturer: Brouwerij De Musketiers
ABV: 6.5%
Beatiful hazy caramel color with large thick white foamy head. Smells delicious. Toasted malt and a little nutty with a touch of yeast. Taste - Perfect balance of maltiness and just enough bitterness. Hides the 6.50% well.

V-12
Manufacturer: Victory Brewing
ABV: 12.0%
Heady with a aromatic fruity start and taste, this amber ale features hints of pear and apricot in its well-nuanced flavor. The initial impression of fruitiness concludes in a refreshing dryness that begs you to sip again. Be fore- warned, this ale is immense as it registers 12% abv.

Verboten
Manufacturer: Weyerbacher Brewing Co.
ABV: 5.9%
The beer pours a slightly hazy gold color with a thick frothy white head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is great! It has a solid pale malt scent along with good hop character and one hell of a yeast aroma. It's fruity/peppery; all of the above. The taste is great as well! I'm loving the bitter hop flavor compiled with a yeast character that's out of this world. It's dry and bitter and just plain good. The mouthfeel is fine. It is a low bodied beer with good carbonation. This is a Belgian pale that borders on a Belgian IPA

Vertical Epic Ale
Manufacturer: Stone Brewing
ABV: 9.5%
Fermented with the legendary Ardennes strain of Belgian yeast, 10.10.10 is a Belgian Strong Pale Ale brewed with pale malt and triticale (a cross of wheat and rye), hopped with German Perle hops, and steeped with chamomile during the whirlpool stage. In secondary fermentation, we added a juice blend of Muscat, Gewurztraminer, and Sauvignon Blanc grape varieties.

Wendelinus
Manufacturer: Brasserie Meteor
ABV: 6.8%
Poured a nice off white creamy head that lasts and some lace. Color was a clear medium amber. Aroma was malty, yeasty, apricot, honey, dark ripe fruit, spicey, and a bit floral. Flavor was like aroma. Good bitter/sweet balance. Good body, champagne fizz. A slow session beer.

Witkap Pater Singel
Manufacturer: Brouwerij Slaghmuylder
ABV: 6.0%
Witkap is dosed with candi sugar and new yeast. It is a blonde beer that sparkles like champagne. It has an extremely estery nose with typical abbey notes of banana and berry. Unusually, this is followed by a light body and lemony finish. Overall the effect is something one could describe as an abbey lager.
